The PS5 has everything you could want in a console

The best exclusive games. Lightning fast speeds. The best UI. The most innovative controller ever made. The best online community. The best console versions of nearly every multiplat. PSVR2 incoming.

This is why PS5 continues to sell out within seconds of each restock since it launched nearly 5 months ago. Its value is simply unmatched for what it costs.

It's time for Microsoft and Nintendo to take notes and start caring about providing real value and quality to the consumers the way that Sony does.

The PS5 is great. I don't feel like I need to upgrade my PC for a while. And if there is a PS5 Pro, then that may keep me off PC for a while. Only thing I'll miss though is if they announce a Starcraft 3. That would bring me back lol.

Almost. Problem with the PS5 is it’s too weak. Multiplat games look and run better on XSX. PS5 doesn’t currently have any games worth playing. Where as on Game Pass you have hundreds of great games you can play on Xbox or PC and both system run those games better than PS5. So in reality there really is no reason at all to buy a PS5.

Really? What exclusives? There's no reason to buy one at all right now. The system is huge and ugly, the controller has problems, the system won't support Dolby Vision, it doesn't have Game Pass or Nintendo exclusives.

Call me when the PS5 Pro comes out, and there are actually solid exclusives to warrant the price of entry.

PS5 is great but most the games I'm looking forward to will be released in the future and haven't been yet. That said, I just updated my sig for the next game coming out that I'll really enjoy... Oddworld Soulstorm. Happy to see it's free to Plus members as well.

Outside of that, it could use that rumored PS1/2/3 cloud backwards compatibility.

PS5 is for the living room. PC is for the office. They compliment each other very well. PC also does many things consoles don't and are a necessity for most peoples daily tasks. Not that someone like you who bought some pile of crap for a grand just to print photos on would know anything about.

@vfighter: Ok. Most multiplat games looks SM run better on XSX. I understand when Xbox had outdated tools early on some games did better. But those have been patched and games now all look and run better on XSX. Which still proves there is no reason to get a PS5 now.

Microsoft got the momentum right now. Hardware to Hardware Series x is better. Vrr, Quick resume, Smart delivery vs haptic feedback. Gamepass vs 70 dollar first party.

What exclusives? Out of it's three big games, two are on the PS4 and one is a PS3 remaster. :-S

When both consoles have SSDs, no one can tell the difference.

No one gives a shit about UI. And the Xbox UI is decent so... *Shrugs.

All current multiplats are now performing better on the Xbox Series X. So the 15 minutes of excitement pretty much lasted until March. While on some games, the PS5 version lacks a quality mode completely.

What value? Increased prices for 1st party current gen releases? :-S

On top of that, the line up for the rest of the year is as bad if not worse than the Xbox Series line up, depending on how good Halo Infinite is.

The PS5 is selling on brand value right now, that's it. The PS4 was a success and people went over. The Xbox has to start over with the brand because last gen was just a mess from beggining to end with them.

Cows, over selling their console again. The truth is, both the PS5 and Series X are expensive consoles, with nothing much going for them to justify their cost right now just like any launch year console.

Series S is the best value console right now. It's cheap enough to justify the content on offer right now. It's still not particularly smart to buy a $500 console in the launch year.
