40-70 fps avg 50fps on high settings 1080p (not limited at 60fps, if limited to 60 the max and avg fps is identical to PS4)

battlefield 4 on PC is still far from optimal performance with promissed patches to improve performance and Mattle drivers also promisse to boost AMD performance in december 2013

was getting 70fps in single player high 1080p, then came a patch and its now only 50fps, waiting for new patch to fix it

Say what you want hermits, the main reason I buy a console is not the graphicx, but the games. No matter how high resolution your PC can get, it still can't play GTA V / The Last of Us / Super Mario Galaxy

actually the specs are quite good, Corsair is no slouch for a PSU, AMD GPU is top stuff. AMD cpu is decent, AMD motherboard aint bad, 50 dollar motherboards are common, just dont overclock on them and they will suit you fine.. Its a very well rounded low spec but quality pc.

I was shocked battlefield 4 could not even maintain 1080p 60 on ps4. Mid range pc gpus have no problem at 1080p.. With mantel its even more performance.

Usually guys post some really junky pcs and claim they are better than consoles with parts that are literally about to fail. But this guy impressed me, Good solid brands and still came in low on budget for good performance . Someone mentioned he did not include a copy of windows ? arent we in 2013, who buys windows? get off a friend and crack it or something

but what are those games? Path of Exile, League of Legends, iRacer, Rome, Sims, Arma... I don't like any of that. There's no Uncharted, Yakuza, Valkyria Chronicles, Marvel vs Capcom... For the only thing I use my Laptop is to play my old PS1 and PS2 JRPGs with slightly better graphics on my HDTV with a DS3 controller on a 4700MQ since emus mostly use CPU.

PC may have more AAA and AA games, but most of the game is not my taste, its as simple as that man. My best game this generation is The Last of Us. It can't be played on PC.

And I never compares PS4 graphics with PC. I always compares it to Xbone game.

and it still is! Use logic for a second. Consoles are fixed HW that will last for at least 5 to 8 years, so the higher the specs the better.

Stuff like this is so pointless, at the end of the day if you're buying a PC there's no point settling for second best just to get it for cheap because it won't last as long and you're already failing to run modern games at great settings. If you want to spend $400 and get a good gaming experience buy a console, if you're willing to spend $800+ go for a PC.

as a pc hardware enthusiast, i can't swallow this.

no matter how i try and slice it, i cannot rig up a gaming pc of equivalent value to ps4 for an equal price.

A Linux one? Yeah, maybe I could, however, that cuts out way too much library.
