What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I’m eagerly awaiting Spider-Man 2, but in the mean time, playing some games from the backlog. Tried Starfield for a few hours but it wasn’t clicking for me. Baldur’s Gate 3 is an option, and I also want to continue my playthrough of Octopath Traveler 2, which I feel like is a hidden gem of 2023. How about you, SW? What are you playing this weekend?

RE4 Seperate Ways, Mortal Kombat 1, and Lies of P

I've been playing The Messenger, and I'll probably go right into Sea of Stars after that one.

Armored Core 6, maybe. I haven't had the chance to play anything over the last month, so I'd like to get back to it.

The Messenger was fun.

Bought the Separate Ways dlc for Resident Evil 4 Remake so will probably play some of that. Definitely will be playing more Lies of P and Starfield. Am very much enjoying both of those games.

Definitely having a lot of fun with it, I'm a little past the part where it starts playing around with time travel.

Starfield if I get time. Was planning on dumping some furniture and starting on removing trim/flooring from my place.

Persona 5. I've had it on the back-burner for months [Game Pass], so it's time I finally try it. Taking a break from Starfield.

More Starfield probably. I've been unable to play much else.

Nobunaga’s Ambition Awakening, trying to figure out the finer points. The game relaxes me so I can play it at all hours of the day.

I am also playing Baldur’s Gate 3, Ghost of Tsushima and MLB 23.

I am waiting for NHL 24 review scores and if that bombs I will get Spider-Man 2.

I need to beat Starfield before my GamePass expires. Then back to the good old PS5.

Zelda tears of the kingdom

Starfield and Starfield. I beat the initial campaign and got a character to level 30+. Made a new character because new game + is kind of lame, will probably get another 20 hours before I put it on the back burner (I'll still play it, though, it's kind of a forever game).

Will try out a new character on Cyberpunk to get an idea for the 2.0 update, but I won't go too far into it until the expansion is out.

And finally I am back into Factorio because apparently 800+ hours (which is A LOT for me) wasn't enough.

Battlefield 2042 multiplayer fix and Lies of P. Also going to give Party Animals a try on the XSX.

Oh yea the new powers and the sky/depths were such great additions to the game.

I grinded to level 90, but I got tired of it.

The first season was a bust, IMO. I went back to my Eternal character before I reached level 50.

But, I may try the 2nd one.

I've been replaying Witcher 3 after the honeymoon phase warned down on me with Starfield, so I'm been taking a hiatus on it. So just Witcher 3 & more on CP2077 cause I might end up playing Phantom Liberty soon.

Yeah Starfield is amazing, I used to always look for diplomatic options but now that I've turned into a one man army I can resolve everything ... not so peacefully.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, i'm trying to do all the sidequests, but they keep appearing and appearing.

Lots of poker on my phone.

Laptop - work keeps getting in way of games.

I was going to make a start into CP2077 but...er...bugs. The game thinks I have a controller connected and in use so keeps showing me the UI for controllers. Also many keyboard bindings don't work. I thought it was a Linux/Proton thing but it seems to be affecting some people on Windows too. I even booted my PC today with no controllers connected....still thinks i'm using a controller. So the patching must continue. I'll hold off until the expansion comes out. Hopefully CDPR have it sorted then.

In the meantime I'm playing Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris on the steam deck. The game is rated as unsupported but it's working fine. A good game to be played on a handheld too. Generally fun game.

I'll also go back to Arkham City. Then some Bayonetta 3 to round things out.

Been playing Dragon Quest Builders 2 on my PS5. I'm going for the platinum trophy, which I only ever do with games I enjoy immensely. It's a really fun game. And whenever I'm in the Xenomorph mood, which is quite often, I'll boot up Aliens: Fire Team Elite for some multiplayer fun. I have also started back up another run of Elden Ring with my friends, but they've dropped off the face of the earth and I'm the only one who still has the motivation to play. They're busy with who knows what, though I know one is playing their favorite game Destiny 2. :(

I think I’m done with Starfield, about 100 hours played. I’ve been ignoring my Xbox for too long. Started playing Hi Fi Rush, downloaded FH5 and downloading Forza Motorsport. Gonna go back and check out some Xbox exclusives I’ve slept on over the years.

Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways and Samurai Maiden mainly. Might continue my replay of Danganronpa on Switch.

Baldur's Gate 3 is quite good!

Most likely Blasphemous 2 and Monster Hunter World.

Might finish TotK too. I have all shrines, all lightroots, all caves, all armors, done all sidequests I've found. I'm missing 3 wells, and I'm not gonna bother with killing every elite enemy or finding all Koroks. Might try to find the last 3 wells. Only Ganondorf left now otherwise.

Ahh man, you enjoy that ending. The trip to Ganondorf was treacherous, the showdown was satisfying and the ending hits you in the feels.

Definitely one of my favorite Zelda endings now.
