What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I will probably be working on my Aeldari army some more. I have 750 pts built but nothing painted yet. I still have a bunch of Leagues of Votann to build and paint as well. I'll probably choose to do that over video games this weekend.

If I play anything, it'll be sackboy with my daughter.

God of war mostly. I'm in the last 1/3rd of the game now I think. Good game. Enjoying it.

After this though i think i'm going to be all 3rd person action gamed out. So up next....a type of game of I haven't played in yonks: arcade Airplane combat games. I picked up Star Wars Squadrons (3 bucks!) and Ace combat 7 (more than 3 bucks!).

@adsparky: I am about halfway through P3 Reload. Is it me, or does the game get easier and easier as the story progresses? I am loaded on items and money, and most enemies fall to my attacks. I am playing on hard.

I'm 80 hours into Unicorn Overlord heading into the last zone on expert in a 100 percent run, so I probably still have around 20 hours. I'm also 10 hours in on Dragons Dogma, have not started Rise of the Ronin, and I'm grinding three passes (MLB the Show 24, Rocket League, and Siege).

With just those I'm swamped with games, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Good problem to have though.

Started playing AC3-Remastered on my Deck. Finished Brotherhood and Revelations recently.

Not much. Might dip into another FF7 Reborn run, but mostly just getting all the parts for my renovation.

@iambatman7986: I’m painting the Ultramarines and Tyranids from the Leviathan box set, I messed up on my first attempt with the tyranids so I had to strip the paint and start over. I’ve learned a ton already from my mistakes and a lot of YouTube videos lol. It is a lot of fun and quite relaxing and satisfying to paint them though. Do you play as well?

I was discussing that with a friend, but it's not that the enemies are weaker than in the previous iterations, is that they buffed the party members way to much, the batton pass mechanic, now called shift and the theurgy, particularly the passive ones makes them overpowered even against bosses; while the enemies were left intact, and on the top of that the merciless difficulty is unavailable if you don't start with it.

@ratchetclank92: I do play. I am currently working on my Eldar army, but I also have Leagues of Votann, Space Marines, Tyranids, and Necron armies. It is a lot of fun to build, paint, and play. I also got Leviathan, it was a great deal for starting those 2 armies.

@iambatman7986: awesome man that is a sweet collection! I’ll probably start a Tau army after I’ve gotten better at playing and painting. I wish I got into Warhammer years ago now, it definitely is a lot of fun!

DD2. S'alright, save for the framerate. Like gosh darn.

Might just be DD2, but might hop back into Hogwarts. The game runs fine lol its the combat thats the issue with the game. Capcom should just hire FromSoft devs or pay them to teach them how to make a good combat system.

47 hours into FF7 Rebirth. Think I’m near the end of Chapter 8. That Barret segment was amazing. Wasn’t expecting so much depth to it.

Playing FF7 Rebirth and it's mint. I hate the moogle mini-game - 100% skipping that.

I don't mind since it's a side-quest. Some of them are annoying, at least they are skippable or I can go back to it once I completed the story. Currently on Chapter 11 and 60 hours in. some of the summons are hard to beat. If only Chadley made it easier :'(

just picked up Cait Sith - what a character! I love all of the characters feel distinct when you play as them.

Playing through Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Hard Mode now and damn, it’s hard. 😅

did you play FF16 on final fantasy mode? never got to it, but just wondering how it was.

Ending the weekend with 52 hours into FF7 Rebirth. Chapter 9, finishing up the Corel Region.

Beat the Sonic Triple Trouble 16-bit fan remake as Super Sonic. Pretty good.

Played an hour of Returnal.

Having not played shooters in a while because they're almost all in first-person view (Shit by default.) or slow third-person, I'm bothered about the lack of analog movement with a keyboard. Didn't used to care, but now I think of how unimaginative the console manufacturers are for funding so many 3D shooting games and never coming up with a fusion between analog navigation and the speed and precision of something like a mouse. This game lets you use a mouse and controller at the same time, doesn't deactivate one when the other is used, as is so common. Feels rather nice, but my controllers are too heavy to use with one hand for so long. The Wii nunchuck doesn't have enough buttons... PC game peripheral designers and PC players are such cowards.

Thought lack of shoulder swapping would be totally fine in a shooter with such open environments, but it does bother me after all. I am blinded when coming around objects from the right, as is always the case in games where the character is so far on the left.

Heh, that's pretty cool. Never played a game like that.
