What October game(s) are you most looking forward to?

Another great month for gaming! I’m most looking forward to Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Wonder. Both look great and improvement on their predessors. I will also check out Forza Motorsport on GamePass though I’m not a huge sim racer fan. Lords of the Fallen looks so impressive, but I’m not sure if I’m ready for another Souls game. They’ve become the FPS of this generation haha. I’m hoping Sonic Superstars is good. MGS Collection might be worth picking up just to get have it on modern systems (where’s my MGS 4 remaster??) . And I’ll keep my eyes open on Alan Wake 2 and Cities Skylines 2. How about you, SW? What October game(s) are you most looking forward to?

There's a lot and I mean every month, nay every week is getting crazy releases.

But for me it has to be Alan Wake 2, Alan has been trapped in the dark place for way too long and he needs me to help him get back out.

Alan wake 2 by far.

Assassin's creed mirage I'm a huge fan of the older ac games and this is apparently going back to the roots and no RPG mechanics.

I'm really trying to continue with my backlog after Starfield but Alan Wake 2 and MGS Collection (PC) are awfully tempting

Super Mario Bros. Wonder and maybe NHL 24? Forza Motorsport on GamePass. Pretty good month for games in my opinion.

Alan Wake 2 for the most part and as for Spider-Man 2, I'll wait for PC version as I have too much games to play.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is looking more tempting as I do miss the old style of AC.

Sonic Superstars is a must on PC as I still love Sonic games.

Was gonna download Forza Motorsports on Game Pass but I'll wait for GOTY to buy on PC way down the road as it's not that important for me to play right now.

Two interest me: Spider-Man 2 and Mario Wonder. I more than likely will not get either any time soon upon release, but they are games I would like to play.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is one that I would definitely like to get, since I believe it's like $40 on PSN to pre-order, but I'm concerned about its length, but most importantly, the quality of the game. If memory serves, AC games drop quickly in price anyway, so I may just wait for a price drop.

Also, I found interesting is that there is the original three Tomb Raider games getting a remaster. Saw it on PSN last night and was like, whoa! Probably wouldn't get them as I could never get past the first levels as a kid. XD

Very busy month. Top priorities are:

I'm nearing 70 hours of Starfield and I feel like I've done 10% of the game, so I really don't know if I'm going to get anything this month. Definitely will play Forza, but not too much as I tend to put hundreds of hours in the series, I'll get to it later. Maybe Mario as a palate cleanser. I wanto to get Alan Wake also. Damn, there's just too much good stuff! Need to play Blasphemous 2 and didn't get to it yet. 😢

I'm 35 hours into Starfield and only just found out you can actually hail other space ships (in busy ports like Jemison or Neon City space) and trade with them or even pirate them if you want.

What a gem this game!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two Assassin's Creed games. They were amazing and nothing I had ever seen in a video game. But the more they made, the more redundant they became. The more they made, the less interested I became. Then came the RPG elements in Odyssey and I lost all interest in AC. With that said, looking at the gameplay of Mirage, the graphics look like little money has been put into it, and it comes across as a game that attempts to go back to its roots to bring back the fans who enjoyed the original, but it will fail because everyone is more interested in the newer RPG elements. It reminds me of how Zoolander and Dumb & Dumber took forever to make a sequel and it just comes across as a "too little, too late" kind of thing. Just my prediction.

This series needs to evolved, not to go back to how it was in 2007. Adding rpg mechanics ain't it, but because rpg mechanics are extremely easy to monetize, this is what Ubishit has chosen to go with. This company is completely lost, and has no idea wtf they're doing.

Few I'm keeping eyes on, def not buying right away though: Lords of the Fallen, Spider Man 2, and Alan Wake 2.

Spider-Man 2 is the obvious one for me. Alan wake 2 is second. Then Forza.

Just got to Neon now, I'm doing the Crimson Fleet, should be finishing it soon. Funny how a completely optional quest could be a whole main story of a game.

Am torn over Forza motorsport. The base game is $109 here and I said I won't be buying it for that price. But since then I got a $50 gift card for fathers day, so it's brings the price down to $69, but I still feel uncomfortable about it, decisions, decisions.

Total War: Pharaoh and Forza Motorsport. Set aside budget for both, just hoping they'll be good. After reading things about Starfield post launch, I decided to throw that in the sale bin and shift my budget around a bit, which means I have spare money to spend for the next three months. Actually spending that money is another thing.

@SolidGame_basic: I am afraid I'll be too busy with Starfield, Payday 3, Sea of Stars, and more to try out new games.
