Who the F*^$$ asked for Rage 2?

why not? there is a room for improvement. especially after DOOM i really wanted Rage 2 and it seem like better than i expected.

RAGE 2 will be one of the best FPS this gen if it become 1/4 of good as DOOM.

Rage 1 was released in dark era of gaming when every FPS wanna be COD. so that game even had iron sight, corridor, slow movement and regen health while judging by trailer Rage 2 is crazy fast faced game in open world wasteland.

plus id tech 5 destroy the game. its id tech 6 so chances are its going to be one of the best sequel of all time.

Some of the action in the new game play trailer looks fun.

Who cares? Seriously though just because something isn’t “asked” for specifically doesn’t mean that it can’t be something that people may appreciate it or turn out to be something good. Sometimes a developer sees something that can be created or have an idea to give another kick at the can so to speak.

I didn't ask for it, but I'm open to it. the mix of FPS and vehicular combat seems like a decent formula, they just need to make a better game

EDIT: I just watched the new gameplay trailer. Avalanche is involved apparently? and its open world? I guess the first one was as well to an extent.

Im with you on this one B Cell. Rage not only had some of the best art design ever (a games in-game visual design making concept art look like shit is unheard of), but the gunplay, enemy navigation, and feedback were second to none. Yes, I'm even saying it beats DOOM '16 in those areas.

With Avalanche's dynamic take on the open world under the hood in the sequel, I couldn't be happier. I just hope the above mentioned perks that made the original stand above the competition make a return as well.

Duke3D also wasn't the first Duke Nukem game, but it's the one people remember.

The new Star Wars trilogy is crap. I went to the cinema for the last two not doing it again for episode VII or what ever they're going to call it. Garbage in so many ways.

I did. I loved the original.

Fast-paced? Were we looking at the same trailer? The movement seemed no faster than any of the other shooters made in the last thirteen years. The sprint at the end of the trailer was also really slow.

Dunno...but could turn out to be good... :P

Who cares I'm glad we have RAGE 2 I'm sick of the predictable sequels we get every year ID is a much better developer these days then back in 2011. They pretty much make the best FPS right now I wish we had more company's that make great singleplayer FPS.

@GarGx1: Yeah the new trilogy definitely ain't as good as the original trilogy, and its not even as good as the Lucas prequel trilogy.

But I wouldn't call them terrible either, I find them very entertaining movies. And I like the new characters a lot: Rey, Finn, Kylo... I just really dislike them shoehorning in so many old stuff, old setpieces and old characters. It feels recycled in a lot of ways.
