Will you be getting God of War 3 remastered this Tuesday?

^^ A pretty nice comparison video between PS3 and PS4 versions. PS4 definitely looks crisper and more fluid (to state the obvious). Will you be getting this, SW? Is it worth another turn? I'll probably get it, but most likely not for the $40 price tag.

Nah. It's not a game series that I enjoy playing through again. Gimme a remastered Mass Effect, with fixed updated ME1 controls, and i'm all over it.

Not for me, I played the hell out the game on the PS3 so really no need for it again on the PS4.

For anyone who has played it, the game looks freaking amazing on PS3 truly one of the best looking games of last generation that even 1080p and 60fps can do little to improve. So no, most people who have played it will not need to buy this game. It's less improvement than TLOU remaster was over it's last gen counterpart.

For anyone who has never played the game before however? Absolutely yes. It's honestly better than most games that have released this generation, far better. If you own a PS4 and haven't played GOW3 on PS3 yet, buy it. It is one of those few quality games that retains it's merit even when crossing to a new generation.

Even if I had a PS4, I would not pay that price. You can get the PS3 saga collection sealed on ebay right now for less than $23.

This seems a tid bit overpriced im a fan 9.99 last of us remaster price and other prices this price seems a bit stacked too high.

With MCC it was 60 but you got a lot of stuff this one I just dunno I have awkward feeling about it

Does it add up to 40? Very unsure but I mean i didn't get to fully play this game only played the first level on my friends ps3, and I already beat god of war 1 and the psp god of war games.

So its like a brand new game for me so ill check it out I mean and atleast ill have the best version? maybe ill wait for a review first actually. I wanna make sure the reviewer said this version is the best before i buy it.

I still have all of the GOW games on PS3 but I'll pick it up on PS4 just to add to my collection once the price has dropped enough.

Since I Have Gow3 on PS3, my answer is no. The only people buying his should be those who haven't played it on PS3. Honestly, the graphical leap is not worth a purchase and re-run of the game..

I'm not sure. I only played Gow3 a bit on a rental, I did like it but I never bought it. 40 seems steep for a redo, is there any DLC or something new the original doesn't have? Could probably buy a used ps3 version for 5$ somewhere

GOW3 was just a technical showcase for the PS3 that soured me on the entire franchise.

No chance. They should have just ported GOW Saga straight from PS3 and upped the res to 1080p that would have been good value for anyone who hasn't played GOW. Anyone who has already owns this and doesn't need a slightly improved port of one game.

Probably not. 40 dollars is too much for a game I found to be a big step behind its predecessors. Now if they redid the PS4 titles for PS4 I would jump all over that shit, I loved Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta.
