I am surprised that the Switch OLED sold over 53K unirs in Japan in a single week. The other systems sold less than 10K units.

That is surprising. I wonder if there was a major sale or is there still a PS5 shortage or something? Doubt it will continue when the slim releases (as that too could be a reason for lower PS5 sales)

As a side note, I am surprised how the Switch is still selling so well there. I wouldn't be surprised if there is an average of 12 Switches in each household at this point. Do they just buy a new Switch each time they start getting joycon drift?

They just announced how in next couple months they're release Like A Dragon Gaiden, Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, Persona 5 Tactics, Persona 3 Reload, all on Game Pass. They just added Like A Dragon Ishin to boot. Perhaps Japanese gamers are taking notice.

Yeah, no. The PS5 is like 15x below it's weekly average. This is purely a result of PlayStation selling the rest of their stock so that we can start selling the Slim model.
