Epic boss battles, mesmerisingly epic musical score. and addictive mini games make this the best final fantasy game yet.
the battle system is the same as all the others(exept 12) but why change when ur one of the best in the genre. nobou uematsu does another fanominal job with music. the mini games are highly addicting. playing cards is so... Read Full Review

FF9 is probably bar none one of the best RPG's ever made. Including every aspect that one would expect to come from FF.
Final Fantasy 9 is without a doubt one of the best RPG's ever made. There is very little to frown upon in FF9. Quite possibly one of the most well rounded stories of the entire FF series with some of the most well define... Read Full Review

After 3 entries set in futuristic realities, FF goes back to its roots. Does it manage to hold its own still?
Hell yeah it does! I'll admit, I was initially disappointed that this FF didn't take place some where futuristic since my first game in the main series was FFVII. However, the story and characters drew me in more than an... Read Full Review

Final Fantasy IX, greatest Final Fantasy so far?
The second Final Fantasy title I ever played, the first was Final Fantasy VIII which is also an absolute corker of a game, but nothing compares to Final Fantasy IX in my eyes. From beginning to end it keeps you completel... Read Full Review

This was the very first Final Fantasy I'd played, the one that got me hooked!
I absolutely love the Final Fantasy series, and this game is to blame! True, it did have its flaws here and there, but overall it was amazing! The leveling up system is a bit odd compared to other FFs, but it doesn't mak... Read Full Review

Despite its cartoonish graphics, FFIX has a great story and a loveable cast of characters.
When I first picked up an actual copy of FFIX with a Greatest Hits version of FFVII recently, I didn't know that I was going to enjoy this game so much. The game is about a young bandit (and a womanizer) named Zidane Tri... Read Full Review

Possibly my favorite video game, and arguably the best Final Fantasy title I've encountered. Easily a great in my book.
As my first introduction to the Final Fantasy series, as well as the RPG genre, Final Fantasy IX became one of my most enjoyed Final Fantasy's (and games) to date. I have replayed it numerous times (too many to count, in... Read Full Review

It may not be as immediately dazzling as its PS1 brothers, but stick with it and you'll be richly rewarded.
This was a big change of pace for me when I first played it: I'd only previously played FFVII and FFVIII, so the straightforward fantasy setting was new to me. I didn't quite know what to make of it at first... ~ P... Read Full Review

FFIX is a tribute to everything I have loved in JRPGs.
I had already played through and beaten the game a while ago. And I had already forgotten this game in its entirety. Then I picked it up and started playing through it, again. Wow. The characters may be blocky and blu... Read Full Review

The best I've played in all my life. I finished it 6 times and I'll do it many more.
Simply the greatest game in the world. The majority of people who knows the series associate it immediately to FFVII because it was revolutionary and blah blah blah...but in FFIX I found something more, this is the only ... Read Full Review
