1. Unlock Kuon

   At the start, the final boss Kuon is the only character in the roster to be locked. Unlocking him requires completing Arcade mode with certain characters (alternatively, he can also be purchased as DLC). This is how to do it:

   Unlockable
   Complete Arcade mode with Hyde, Linne, Waldstein, Orie, Vatista, Seth, Hilda and Chaos.	Kuon
