A great looking game with an interesting story, though a bit short to be honest.

User Rating: 7.5 | Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands PC
You return as the Prince of Persia in an epic battle with a sand army or kin Solomon. The Prince's brother freed the army and now they are causing havoc. And even though your brother is killing them, they feed him more power and he becomes your ultimate target.

The game looks absolutely stunning. Your character as well as the people you interact with are meticulously detailed and just looks great. That is if you're running this game on a proper PC. :)

The environments are really pretty to look at for some parts, but for the most part you find yourself in corridors and rooms having to navigate through them on perfectly placed poles and ledges.

The game added a few more things for you to do. In previous games you run, you kill and you get stronger. This one there is an upgrade system which allows you to upgrade health of rewind sand holders, also they've added some abilities. These include fire that will tail you when you run around and burn enemies. Wind that pushes enemies away from you. Ice slash and a rock skin. These are great new additions, but not always needed...if ever.

There is also a new dynamic which allows the prince to freeze water so you can use them as poles to swing on or walls to run along. There's also an air dash ability that helps you get over those big jumps and one ability that makes pieces of the castle come in and out of view. All these put together leaves you with a lot of button pressing on the right time. This is sometimes actually harder than it sounds as some of the buttons might be far apart depending on you keyboard, or you'll sometimes end up pushing the wrong one out of haste and finding yourself rewinding time to do it again.

It's a good game, though very short and it kind of left me wanting just a bit more. It's been a while since we saw a Prince of Persia game, and I thought this long wait would make it more worth it than it was. It's only okay, but still a lot of fun to play and a must have for the fans.
