Sounds like most of the review is "THIS GAME IS TOO HARD!" He does have a point with the balance issues between multiplayer and single player.

Also movies and books DO have a skip feature, they're called the fast-forward button and the ability to skip pages/chapters.

I know there are some games like MGS and Metroid: Other M that have modes where after you beat the game you can choose an option that basically tells the game like a movie and you can just watch. More games can do that.
