I feel like this game is clearly intended for a very specific audience. The audience who grew up with the original game and want to experience that same game again with some added enhancements via better visuals etc. Clearly this reviewer is not part of the intended audience who is wanting to play this, and i feel like Gamespot knows that to a certain extent. Fans of the original will know doubt have the better experience playing this, as that's what this game caters to the most. This remasters mere existence is a love letter and a reminder of the licensed platformers back in the days of the PS2, with all the flaws and charms that come with it, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that at all.

Now lets be honest...who saw this release date coming?
