Because we've had it for FREE up until now? Does there really have to be any other reason than that?

Alan Wake is probably one of my top 3 games this generation and easily one of the best in terms of story, atmosphere and original setting. I STRONGLY suggest you check out the short promo movie made for Alan Wake called Brightfalls. If you have played and enjoyed Alan Wake it's absolutely stunning, one of the best short movies i've ever seen.

Check it out on Youtube, you won't regret it.

Edit: Just noticed that the quote is a real old one and it more likely that it will be a spinoff than a full fledged sequel.

Metroid Prime won me over in a single graphical moment. Landing on Tallon IV for the first time, looking up to the sky and seeing the raindrops falling down on Samus visor sent chills down my spine. That's also when Metroid Prime won me over after doubting it for so long.

Mirror's Edge is probably the only game that has made my jaw drop in terms of how otherwordly good it looks. Compare shots of Mirror's Edge to almost anything else released this generation and the colour difference is night and day.

And of course I will never forget the distinct graphical style of Donkey Kong Country 2 the beehive, theme park and lava levels simply blew my mind as a kid. And they STILL look amazing.

Other games are Yoshi Island, Half-Life 2, Perfect Dark, Red Alert 2, Starcraft, Banjo & Kazooie, Wind Waker, Super Metroid

The XBL Gold is what keeps my Xbox360 for getting any use at all. Been a Xbox Live Gold member for 3 months and I got a 360 when Halo 3 was released. When it's in competition with Steam, it's community and the prices that service offers I don't see how people prefer Xbox Live over it.

4th generation is the gaming industry at it's best. Arcade's were still somewhat existant and alive. Living room multiplayer. And the hobby was generally still unexplored. I'd place this one in second place considering that we can play almost every classic from last gen remade and technology is really moving the gameplay forward.

Mine is probably Deus Ex Human Revolution so far. I think Skyrim and Batman Arkham City has a chance of taking the crown as well. BF3, Uncharted 3, Rage, Skyward Sword, Dark Souls etc all looks to be the contenders for this years GOTY. I honestly can't remember a single year the GOTY has been this stacked for possible choices.

Games like Farmville is more likely to be at the top of the casual market than any CoD game ever will.I think he he means the opposite of what he said. Maybe CoD and GTA are the some of the top dogs when it comes to the hadcore gaming market but hardly if you take everything into account. Also they are both multiplat franchises. Guitar Hero was one of the biggest IPs the market had ever seen and Activision changed that slow and steadily, and all ofa sudden the popularity tanked. The market changes quickly and I think that CoD has hit it's spot when it comes to popularity.

Yeah this really pisses me off since it was the PC version that I wanted to pick up due to shorter loading times and PhysX (which might be the reason for the delay). Thankfully I have other games to keep me entertained until it's released but NOVEMBER IS HELLA STACKED!

Nice to see colours for a change, but I have yet to find something that really hypes me for the game. If my hunch is correct that this is more like A Link to the Past than WindWaker and Twilight Princess....i'm GAME!
