I agree with people defending this game. Forget the system wars crap for a minute. The reason people should defend this game is because it's such a shame on the developers. They made such an awesome game and they get mediocre reviews for their hard work. I agree with giving low scores to games that deserve it but this game doesn't.I always find it funny that the people that try and defend a game about an unjust low score are those that already have it and are loving it. Isn't that all the matters? Not a number associated with a game from some random person making a post on a gaming site, but what you actually think of the game yourself?
Don't let a review bum you out. Just ignore it and go back to playing your awesome game!

[QUOTE="da_illest101"]how the hell is is this one more repetitive?!?! Go back and replay Infamous 1 for a few hours lol Haha, yeah. The first game was more repetitive. I do miss the platforming levels that infamous one had but I really liked this game. I don't listen to reviews and got this game because I loved the first game. Forget the GS score if you loved the first game. This game is awesome.I just finish the game on good karma and i have to admit that I prefer the first one. It's still a great game but it's a lot more repetitive then the first one. Even on hard this game is too easy and the boss fights were awful, way too easy. The storyline is good but it can't beat the whole cole vs kessler thing.
I'm a bit dissapointed because it didn't met my own hype but the game is still a 9/10 for me and it does improve in more ways then one over the first one

Why is everybody talking about how great Forza is on the release date of GT5 :?
AznKSor
Because it's System Wars and they want to rub it into the faces of the Playstation fanboys. It's how the forum works, I gather. I like GT5 and some of the things said are obvious hyperbole. The standard cars look fine, a lot of the tracks look great. The premium cars look amazing. There is a lot of features and go karts are amazingly fun. The only thing is would say badly about the game is that the shadows are blocky, you notice this quickly when the race starts and the camera moves around your car. I don't like the fact they didn't add interior view into standard cars either. It's not the second coming that people were hoping for but unlike others I never really hyped this game and I'm just enjoying a damn good racing game.
What's worse is that MMO's do a subscription fee and MT's (Micro-transactions). I played MMO's for years and don't mind the fee. I hate MT's though because it makes it easier for people who don't try. Defeats the point in people trying for end game loot. I'm basing this on DCUO that is for PC and PS3 coming out in November. It'll have a cash shop as well as a subscription fee! I know MMO's are doing this more and more these days but it needs to stop. In DCUO you get cool costume pieces you can pay for! Well then what's the point in people even trying to get end game loot and stuff. It's a superhero MMO! Most people want their character to look cool, that stuff should be added to end game to make the game at least last long for high level player, not some kid who gets money from their parents.
The problem with a lot of MMO's is this kind of crap ruins end game stuff. You want to get cool stuff at end game and not at a cash shop.
[QUOTE="Duckyindiana"]OMG it gets a great score and meets the hype and all the cows are still crying!!xOMGITSJASONx
Its the first AAAE title of the year. Cows she be happy!!!
I think it's more to do with it getting the same score as Bayonetta.Heavy Rain is my type of game. Alan Wake is a completely different type of game. To compare game play is quite difficult. I know I would prefer Heavy Rain's game play to Alan Wake's. Does that mean it's a better game though, well until Alan Wake actually comes out It's all just speculation. Now, the graphics in Heavy Rain are amazing in some places. Some scenes look almost real. It's quite amazing, some areas don't look as good though as there is screen tearing and graphical bugs. Only based on the Alan Wake footage, I think Heavy Rain does look better. I would have to wait till Alan Wake comes out to be certain. I also have a PS3 and a 360, by the way.
i just got a dsi but when i go to system settings and exit to dsi menu sometimes a line flashes across screen?. Any ideas?.
No matter what Sony and MS come up with, Nintendo is the winner when it comes to motion controls. They have a large selection of games that use it and it's out now. I like the PS3 but i find it funny at the people trying to defend a glow stick.
