Hello

Sorry to make a thread for a simply question, but can't seem to find an answer to a simple question.

Do I need to of played or have knowledge of previous Bioshock Games?

I don't want to trawl through reviews or google search it specifically, because I know it will be full of spoilers :(

Any help would be appreicated,

Cheers

have your tried muting game sounds to ensure its not something wrong with your audio setup. If it's definitely your PS3 Unplug EVERYTHING Take the console aside and hoover the vents under the lip and others. Put everything back together ensuring a snug fit and see how it is then. The only click from my PS3 is if I turn the power switch at the back to slowy, but than more an electrical snap

I don't Think Stardust HD is a CO-OP splitscreen title , so to my understanding Simulview would be irrelevant for multiplayer .

My save is coming up to 7mb and I've noticed alot more slowdown. Around 5-6mb it would only slow down during intense action like a Fort Full of Bandits / Frost Trolls and a Dragon (That was epic though) But now its really start to freeze for 1-2 seconds on autosaves and randomly when walking into a new area. It's still Perfectly playable, I just hope the patch comes out before I hit anything major :(

I have two controllers

1) A Standard Sixaxis I've had since PS3's UK launch - Only issue is one of the analogue sticks forward time to time

2) A DS3 I imported from US as soon as available, The spring on R2 trigger has failed meaning that it's loose and any pressure activates R2.

Both still working perfect apart from the minor defects mentioned above.

Keep meaning to buy a Blue DS3 :D Thanks for the reminder

So PS3 virus are only now popping up? This would be more publicised or known in forums such as this. I've had my PS3 since launch, I've always had it online, constantly download items including themes. Theme from both the PS store AND from the PS3 web browser including ones from the site linked by the OP. For a long period I had no PC, so the PS3 web browser (awful) was used as my full time Computer. Without pictures, links or any shred of third party evidence from outside of this thread, I among others do Not believe this. The PS3 OS is completely different to a PC or MAC & correct me if I am wrong, to write anything that could do any harm to the PS3 would require a developer kit. So unless your PS3 is jailbroken, only Sony licensed executables can function on your PS3. So back to trying to help you if you decide to accept it 1) Enter recovery mode by holding the front PS power button while the PS3 is in standby. After start up attempt to either restore the PS3 in the settings, or apply another theme to remove the effects of the current one. 2) Remove and replace the Hard drive. If your PS3 is truly bricked this is likely the cheapest repair. Purchase a new ( correct me if wrong) 2.5 Sata Hard drive and install into the PS3 replacing the existing. The PS3 will format the new drive upon start up. You'll lose ALL data but have your PS3 back to factory spec. Enjoi

How are the Graphics compared to PS3 beta? I've been interested in hearing what the final game looks like since announcing the HD texture pack :D
