This the best thread ever! I wonder... Can the administrators be modded for trolling? lolTheEldestGod
Speaking from experience, the answer is actually yes.

I'd definitely be up for it, but I think it would be much more attractive for Capcom to do another crossover fighter with Marvel or some other, better-known license that would attract non-fighting nuts to the game. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 please!

I've found that BioShock and its sequel work best in broad strokes. When you think everything through and try to make it all fit in a realistic, logical universe, issues tend to pop up. Much like The Matrix, it's best if you think about what it's trying to say and cut it slack on exactly how it says it.

Worked fine for me. Cases and manuals were in virtually untouched condition, right down to the inserts for Nintendo Power subscriptions or whatever. Unless you're absolutely particular about condition (in which case you probably don't order anything online), GameFly cases and manuals should be plenty good for your collection needs.

Games might not make people shy, but I can see how they would be especially appealing to shy people.

I'm noticing a lot of Lionhead and BioWare in this thread. Just saying.

Cheap plug time! We'll have Kevin and Mc Shea on next week's HotSpot in order to talk all about Dante's Inferno. Probably BioShock 2 as well.

I don't think the next gen leap will be as big as the last one. The amount of resources required to get higher visual fidelity is bumping up against the law of diminishing returns. If you give Kojima or Itagaki more processing power and a budget, they might give you more visually impressive games. But I think most publishers would be happy enough to not bet the farm on every single game they make. Basically, improved graphics aren't really going to open up that many more new gameplay options at this point, so pursuing them isn't as important as it was in the PSone era. That's part of the reason we've got the motion control trend happening right now in the first place.
