I believe you'll have to create a virtual PS1 memory card.
Go to "Game" on your XMB, find and select "Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)," click on "Create New Internal Memory Card," and pick "Internal Memory Card (PS)."

I guess I can understand if this list was composed by an individual... but if it reflects the views of the entire site, then B* F* S* indeed. Well, whatever... I'm sure if I were to compile a list, a lot of people would be "outraged" by some of my ranking and selections, too :P.

Its just a list of opinions though I and only one game from a franchise could be on it. Peace walker was. But I would think MGS4 would be it and in the top 10. Everything else I like about IGN. Its GS I think is a joke aside from the forums.Giant Bomb is literally the only place I care about when it comes to reviews and opinions. I respect their opinions much more than any other site. They were the guys that made GS for me back in day(which was like 4+ years ago :P)
I like their reviews (and reviewers) a lot, too. But don't particularly like the site... and I'm not even sure why...

I don't like to take extreme stances, so MGS4 not being in the overall top 10 (EDIT: or not in the "PS3" top 2, as AG pointed out) isn't nearly a good enough reason to stop me from occasionally frequenting IGN's website.
As for GS: it's OK. I have a few reviewers that I like (especially Kevin), but that's about it. In terms of providing game news, there are at least a handful of other sites that get the scoop faster and offer more information (from rumors and trivial stuff to major headlines).
