@bluefox755 Hey, I didn't mean to talk about the guns as much as this, but I can see that Americans are sensitive about the issue. And of course you are, those that do not understand, like the British find it shocking just how many guns you have.

The point I was trying to raise was that the games are not the problem. But I guess no one is really focusing on that point, let's talk about guns.

@zombieseesmeat I'm not going to argue American law with you, god knows I'll lose . But if they did decide that computer games are too violent what will they do? Cut the violence? And only in America? Will American affiliated companies be told how to make their games? And will the rest of the world be affected by this too?

@zombieseesmeat No one would suggest to America at this point to get rid of guns, we can see how very attached you are. But doesn't it worry you that children have the same access?

Well, gosh, I don't have a solution. As clearly pointed out, the British can't really comment, but do you really think that would be $10 million well spent?

I believe that if games were less violent then there would be more violence in the real world. Nothing like naming a villager on Fable after your boss and shooting him with a crossbow to relieve stress.

And shouldn't the worry be the accessibility to guns? In England we don't have these common acts of tragedy because while our youth have access to the same games they do not have access to the same arsenal.

These children should not be playing games that are too violent for them because the certificate clearly states that they are aimed at an older audience. But if mother buys little Murdering Mark the game for xmas then mother is to blame - the game itself.

When I think about the things I waste my money on - booze, fags, booze - £40 a year is really not that much. Plus, I'm not going to buy a new expensive console when the one I have is good.

Still, would be nice if it was free......

Any RPG fans who haven't played Persona 4, you're really missing out. It's a definite must in your games collection.
