I was thinking about getting VS but I might as well wait for VS-R. It looks pretty cool honestly. I feel a bit lukewarm about the Evercade library but at least it will be mostly new to me seeing I only played mostly Nintendo growing up.

I like the control scheme as well, it's like a reminder of when games weren't overly complicated.

@santinegrete: As much as I like Frictional games, I didn't have much fun with these on Xbox, it would seem like PC with headphones is the way to play these, in the dark of course.

All this proves is gamers have seriously questionable taste.

We don't have to be worried for them; we just have to embrace their "new age" strategy.

Like OH your PlayStation can play everything, well THANK my Xbox for giving you REAL games.

I prefer a more condensed gaming library, so I don't have to be distracted with inferior games like Horizon: Forbidden West!

Dead Space might actually be my personal GOTY at this rate. Don't get me wrong, if you played the original it isn't a whole lot different. Playing through it though made me really nostalgic. It reminded me of back when the 360 had what was considered "good" graphics, and then seeing the original dead space on it seemed so sublime. The remake looks way better than that, but it still has that classic dead space feel to it.

I think it's nice they released these for a new generation despite obvious disappointment and perceived short comings if you've already played these.
