@andrew_ribbons If I had the GTX 295, it'd be in there. Regardless, it's not really a mystery where it would place. We all know the game runs more than well enough on a single GTX 280, tossing in a GTX 295 wouldn't teach us all that much more. The video card list is meant to give readers a rough idea of how far up the ladder they need to upgrade to get certain playable experiences - on Modern Warfare 2, it's pretty obvious you don't need much run it at high quality and super high resolutions.

@protokyoto I've probably explained this before, but the TV plays no roll whatsoever in our capture setup. We're getting the image directly from the HDMI cable. It doesn't matter what the TV settings are.

@jazilla Read my good man. If anyone paid for that reference, they would be crying. http://www.gamespot.com/images/6212201/most-memorable-moments-of-e3/25/?feature=1&ontology=19758&tag=screenshot

Re: CozmoQ and Gooeykat I explain exactly why I didn't compare the Core i7 to the Phenom II in the article. A full Core i7 setup costs far more than a Phenom II setup. Even I will tell you that a Core i7 will wipe the floor with a Phenom II. It's not a surprise.

lucas182: We used the eVGA 680i motherboard; it's mentioned right after the 975XBX2.

Apexnethor and Milsvaard - I suggest you actually look at the article before you write a comment. It has far more than 2 pages. In fact, there are 12 pages at the moment. See those little green links above the area you enter comments? Click on them. milsvaard Wrote: I don't know why the people at gamespot think they can actually do these test, I mean, the results are in 2 pages. They should probably stick to reviewing games, for hardware, there are other sites that give a more in-depth look. Couldn't agree with you any more as this is hardly a real video card review. If you want to read up on real hardware reviews you need to go to hardware sites that take the time and fully test PC hardware. Most reputable hardware review sites online will ultimately give you the full details on video card performance under real time scenarios with use of in game options and more. Sorry Gamespot but you need to stick with what you know and that is game software and game consoles. Definitly not PC hardware at least for now.
