Mandatory "Leon vs. Chris! WoooooooOoooOo0o0ooo0O!"
Now that that's out of the way...
Why can't we have a simple plot anymore?
RE1: You go to some mansion. S*** happens. Conspiracy crap at the end. RE2: You go to some city. S*** happens. Conspiracy crap at the end. RE3: I'm not the slightest bit familiar with it. RE4: You go to some village. S*** happens. Conspiracy crap at the end.
RE5: Conspiracy right from the start with Tri-Cell, counter-terrorist units, Jill MIA, and Wesker MIA. :| Revelations: Terragrigia. You don't pick up on the connection until the very end but still...>.>

Those plots seem pretty simple to me... Unless you mean simple as in Demon/Dark Souls simple, I don't think RE has the gameplay to compensate that much.
You can't really go wrong with either. Though I preferred Dark Souls as I preferred it's seamless open world as opposed to Demon's Souls individual level system.
People in the UK don't care for the most part. Ubisoft aren't stupid, for the small (almost non-existent) quantity of sales they lose from offended UK gamers will be outweighed by the potentially greater US sales. Patriotism is generally more pronounced in the US.
Also, we don't know enough about the game to determine it's theme in it's full yet.
Worst thing to ever happen to the Final Fantasy franchise after FF XIV..
Did you two actually play it? I'm just wondering.
Not yet. I didn't mean that it was bad. But the fact of the matter is, after finishing XIII, Square Enix could have merged the teams on both games to get Versus out quicker. But they made the decision to make XIII-2 instead. I'll be playing XIII-2 at some point, as I didn't think XIII was as bad as most people say (just average).
My PC basically acts like that currently, so, yes. I haven't bought a hard copy of a PC game in ages. I don't see why a console would be any different.
