New GPU, CPU, Mobo and RAM if you can do it with £500, pretty sure its possible. Hard drive may also be a problem though.

He was a mentor for people like Arnold, very famous in the body building world. RIP.

PSU is huge overkill, get like 500-500w for that rig, would rather get the i5 3570k to.

It will work, maybe think about doing a bit of a full rig overhaul though, the CPU is getting real old.

Sure you plugged the DVI cable back into the motherboard and not the GPU?

only good nvidia option for that high of a resolution is the titan.  The 680/670/660ti etc start choking at anything above 1080p due to the low memory bandwidth.  The amount of vram doesn't matter if the rate at which its being used up is lagging behind the rest of the specs.  So yeah if physx is a must for you then titan is the best option.  If you don't mind AMD, then the radeon 7970 and 7950 are champs, they handle higher resolutions really well.

Its probably the best version of WoW in a long time, still stands as the best MMO out there.

You seem to already know what answers you want so why are you even asking?

Some MMOs (well WoW) can pull off the subscription based model because they are such high quality and always get updates. If a game is great then I am willing to pay for it monthly, its barely even any money to pay in comparison to all the hours of game time you will have.

Just old games I am guessing, if you try to run anything recent it will likely be choppy as hell. If you want to game I would recommend either investing some money into a gaming desktop or a console.
