This is good to hear. I have found plenty of reviews to be questionable, but this is the first official one that I seriously thought should be reworked or removed. It's inaccurate and full of really terrible writing. I have a lot of respect for the reviewing process because stating your opinion in detail is a challenge, so it is obnoxious to see a review that is completely off base in so many ways.

I'm going to go ahead and say that the content of this page is absolutely disgraceful. I've been skeptical of these opinion pieces gamespot is going, but this is too much. You're completely slamming the fans and Bioware for changing the ending to interactive media? With Twitter posts? Are you serious? This article really happened? I'm not imagining that the Gamespot staff have turned into the same kind of raging pretentious dicks that house IGN? And now because of IGN and Gamespot's slandering of the ending change, the charity movement has been shut down by child's play. It caused too much bad press to be associated with the movement. Who really wins? Well it certainly isn't you Gamespot.

I think the author of this article may be looking a bit too deep into these. They're just showing off what they've been working on aren't they? Why does that destroy all interpretation? It's not like they told you exactly how the story plays out. So many opinion pieces recently. Must be a slow month for gaming news.

Isn't this site about video games or something? The last several top stories have include such irrelevant topics as internet trolling, homosexuality, transgenders, artistic vision.... Could you guys just post an article that is about games and gameplay?

The Obliteration Room. Look it up and then continue to tell me the audience affecting art ruins it.

Never mind any of those points, people are hating because the ending is awful. I think most people stopped caring about the homosexuality or DLC once they saw how ****ing bad the endings were.

I don't dislike the fact that there are gay relationships, I just dislike the fact that there are gay relationships that are horribly written. Seriously, flirt with Kaiden for 3 seconds and tell me you don't just want to kill yourself.

Quit being a bunch of babies every time someone gets trolled. Welcome to the internet, people with anonymity attempting to troll don't really care about logic or feelings or empathy, they're in it to get a rise out of you. They succeeded, way to go Bioware. If you had just shut up the trolls would have gotten bored with it and quit the harassing, but the fact that you acknowledged them as any kind of legitimate problem was your mistake. On a more personal note, Hepler is an extremely uncharismatic person and has no business representing the company in any way. The way she responded to these attacks is pretty much evidence of that. It's fine if she write's well (she doesn't) but that' hardly means she should enter the public spotlight. As for the article itself, it's odd that you defend the crass and unprofessional response of Bioware's senior employees. Imagine if someone like a senator responded to their critics and heckler's by calling them a ****ing moron, instead of encouraging civilized behavior. Their support would drop off completely. A petty individual with power can be a dangerous thing. If you can't learn to shrug off a cheap shot, what business do you have representing your company? I think Muzyka's response was much more appropriate, but of course by then the damage had been done.

I think Dragon Age did an outstanding job with it's morality choices. It had an occasional black and white, but mostly it was very, very good about making a lot of grey area, and most choices had drawbacks even if you thought it was the right thing to do.
