@TomMcShea I realize it is possible to both a fan and a critic (whether or not it is the employed critic being the fan of a game or the fan offering a critical view of a game). Mr. Tassi's view of the subject could be completely off. I am not a employed critic so I cannot proclaim to have the perspective of one. I personally do not agree with a rewriting of the ending. It seems like some (not all) of your colleagues focused on pointing out what they perceived as overreactions rather than why they think the ending should not be changed. Personally I do think many fans overreacted, but I'm not going to make fun of them just because it is fun to do (not saying it is or is not :P). In the end it is your decision of what is posted on the site. I just do not enjoy reading people mock others for their opinions, no matter how wrong the opinions may or may not be.

It's clear there exists a divide between critics and fans in this instance. I think this article by Paul Tassi offers a fair explanation of why. The mocking from both sides (staff mocking percieved over reactions to the ending and fans mocking the writers of the game) is not good for anyone.

@RavageCobra. That reviewer you are referring to is in the article above (Jeff Gerstmann). If you would listen to his thoughts on the game in the latest Giant Bombcast, you would know he is definitely not a paid advertiser for the game. No need to throw out the bias card without any proof.

As great as it would be for the great Nintendo games to take advantage of great hardware, Nintendo's business is just not geared toward making that happen. They have no reason to take losses on selling awesome hardware when people continue to willingly buy the hardware on the market already. Consumers accept anything as long as it doesn't have any huge flaws.

The color and resolution of the 3DS top screen are fine for a portable with such a small screen. The problems are having to find and maintain the perfect viewing angle and 3D depth.

PS3 and 360 owners: Get up, stand up: stand up for your rights! Get up, stand up: dont give up the fight! Seems like if you want sharper images with better clarity, you should go with 360, but if you prefer antialiasing like me, you should stick with ps3. Besides, the blurriness is hardly, if at all, noticeable when actually playing the game. This article is pure nit picking anyway to get fanboys wound up. I can already see the rabid 360 and PS3 fanboys battling it out haha.
