i just picked up this mobo.

really easy to work with and has all the features you are after ASUS P8P67 Pro

this is my 1st ever build

build is:

i5 2500k with 212+ cooler

asus p8p67 pro mobo

8gig consair vengence 1600

asus gtx 560 ti direct cu II top gpu

750w TP psu.

i used to stock bios overclock on my mobo to get a 4.2 ghz OC on my cpu. i plan to overclock it properly later on.

i havent OC'd my gpu yet.

im getting min 30, max 50, average of 40 FPS on crysis 1 with all the settings turned up full.

is this about right?

how much more FPS would i get with an OC on the gpu?

Coolmaster 690 II advanced alllllll the waay if you havent chosen a case yet. its so so good.
