Both XB1 and PS4 have weak CPUs. Not sure why Sony and MS did that.

There's a reason that analogy doesn't work. You don't have to buy a game, at retail, right away. You have the option of waiting until a game is on sale, typically at deep discounts, on the Steam sale. When you buy a new console, are you just going to sit around and wait until PSN+ or XBLG are on sale, preventing you from using the online services for an indeterminate amount of time until you can find a membership on sale? Or say your existing membership is expired. Are you going to wait around, unable to play your games online (if that's your bag) until you can pick one up on sale?

It never fails.There is always some dude ready to explain that we all need to buy XBLG on sale.

I have seen it too many times (1000x) since the original Xbox/GC/PS2 era here in SW...and I've seen it about 4 times in the last two months. Here we are today. Maybe you weren't comparing the two, but it's just so repetitive. Why not give the guy a heads up he can buy all the games ever for $20 if he waits, because in theory he can. Why does the thrifty shopping have to end at XBLG? Why not get an Xbone in two years for maybe $200, get the big 2014 games everyone is buying right now for $60 and buy them new for less than $20 next Xmas 2015?

It's all good, just a pattern I keep seeing every few weeks. That is also how I wasn't confused about the $50-$60 question protoss asked...I knew you were going to drive the "XBLG buy for cheap prices" point up. It's all in the lemming profile, certain behaviors. Yes, Sheep, Cows, and Hermits have their idiosyncrasies too. This is a topic about XBL and PS+, so I knew it was coming. It's almost like some of us can't help ourselves.

If XBLG topic comes up in a few weeks, maybe you'll see it too. After the XBL topic is created, eventually some user will post in there about how he got XBLG for $45 and he's so smart and special. He may even argue with other users that XBLG on SALE for $40 is cheaper than PS+ regular price for $50. I've seen it over and over and over. It never fails. It's no offense, it's just sort fascinating quite honestly. On the flip side of it, good looking out for this guy.

If the Halo series stumbles into mediocrity the Xbox is finished.
