@buedamooz: it seems like most issues are a matter of comon sense it wasnt exactly made for mudding and ramps of jumping and banging but there are other systems for avoiding shake scratching in automoobile cd players maybe they should have used some of that teck designing i thought at first it was about the user disk and not the hard drives i suggested a while back a new case design for makeing disk unntouchable and double sided for the regular disk like a flopy disk kinda thing and someone argued thats more breakable parts but also parts you shouldnt be touching in a way to break in the first place but comon sense generaly is the first step to apply but then again even with comon sense and the comon disk generaly get damaged with scratches no matter how hard we try to avoide it just cuz its in the open and touchable which is why i suggested the case injector type a similar thing was made for music libraries makeing the cd in a case that moved in the library changer the hard disk issue seems more like it takes comon sense no abuse to the machine keep it straight dont bump it or add in the stabilizer designs but if thats what you bought and you didnt read everything about it then i guess thats on the buyer i dont recall any comercials for how rough you could treat the machine so i dont think there could be any complain but at your self for not reading or learning or haveing comon sense but if they did ads of rough behavior and made promises that it couldnt full fill then they would be at fault otherwise its probly the user fault,,,for lack of attention and abuse of the machine,,next step after that would be simply sugestions of the better designs for the rougher handing durability ive four different xboxes an atari and a nintendo before and many cd players and a little experience with what others had and disk stuff always seems to scratch or over burn or get cluttered with dust and ive also sen the solutions but you cant make someone build something you can sugest and request and you also gotta se if they could purchase some rights from the other designers who done the stability durabily stuff like the cd changer and cd players where those designs was first used but i dont see a lawsuit issue fitting in most cases but since i did enjoy many games on each device i would do it again if i had to do it over again cuz they was all fun but then they all got their own faults too so at most i might sugest a few refinements and for the people to speak their minds if thats what the customer is wanting like supply and demand if you want a better item then refuse to buy the lower grade and wait for the ugrade or buy into the market of whats available so they can upgrade off the income or proove that they made a fall apart flaw just to sell more otherwise just realize thats the way growth goes do what you can until you can make it better i might also sugest better cooling systems cuz in my experience the cxurrent standards dont handle the 24/7 and requires extra fans or minimal use limits which might be the cause for some of the disks over heating under the lazer lenses a few cases might be from shiping and handeling those might have issues but the others probly their own fault but luckily there are solutions that still requires all the legal rights to be attained maybe it qualifys in the right for the pursuit of happyness and realizeing that the customers want something better so does that fall into the rights of eminent domain? that its more benificial to accept and allow than to deni and try to cause interuption ?i dont know but it can go smoother when accepted together
