When it comes to games that are on both the 360 and PS3 the 360 games tend to look better. When it comes to system exclusives though the PS3 has better looking games then 360 exclusives.

Wow looks like no one realizes that the 8800gtx is a "rip off" at $500+. The only reason the X2900 is slower is because of poor drivers ( once they fix them nVidia better watch out :D). Also the whole point of getting this DX10 card is to play DX10 games if you still want to stick with DX9 then get a X1950XT for $160-$180. Right now ATI seems to have the advantage for really being ready for DX10.

Yes I am an nVidia fan but this card owns all..... The X2900XT is much better then the 8800GTX in terms of being "future proof". It has more stream processors 320 compared to the 8800's 128. It also has a higher clock speed 740 compared to 575 (8800GTX reference design not even a over-clocked one can reach 740). Also higher memory interface 512 bit compared to 384 bit. Sure the 8800GTX has more V-Ram but it doesn't matter since very little games even take advantage of 512mb. Also the X2900XT has 106gb bandwidth much higher then the 8800GTXs' 80gb. The X2900XT is slower on the benchmarks due to poor drivers but wait until DX10 kicks off and this card will blow away a 8800GTX easily. There is no reason to spend $150 or more on a 8800GTX.
