@dmdcsm:

Tom Cruise wasn't a Samurai. And his character was actually based on a French Soldier Jules Brunet In 1866, Brunet was sent to Japan to train military forces and ultimately fought in the Boshin War after refusing orders to return home.

@illegal_peanut: 1st season has issues, but is probably the better of the other two seasons. After that Season 2 is watchable. But Season 3 is like not great, It's season 3 where they decided to ruin the story and mess with the plot and with Cavil gone.. Well.. Rip the show. It had potential but they fucked it up.

Garbage game. No story, no direction, clostophobic FOV. Waste of money and time. I didn't find it fun. Just wasted my time. Don't see the damn appeal . Found the game boring on GameCube, didn't get more than 20 minutes in that. And I pushed myself this time and go to the omega pirate before I Uninstalled it completely on my switch. If shooting insect wild life with clunky controls is your thing while constantly asking yourself "where the F*** do I go next" is your thing then good for you, id. Rather play Cyberpunk or Jedi Survivor than this garbage

I got HBO a month or so ago since it also comes with Discovery+ And so far it's been worth it.

I've had Netflix since 2016 and boy has the prices gone up for about the same amount of content more or less. Netflix also cancels shows. Think there's only 1-2 shows i'm actively watching right now. Witcher (Which is going to be canceled i think, and One piece) Think i'll probably just unsub for now until shows come back.

If netflix goes to $20 a month, then i'm officially dropping out permantly

Edit: Canceled my subscription actually just now. I was looking at the shows i watch and none are worth subbing to. Witcher/One piece are the only two shows im waiting for new seasons on. And cowboy bebop was canceled after 1 season lol. All the other shows and movies left Netflix and were put onto other subs.

Seems Netflix only cares about Pleasing Shareholders and being as anti consumer as possible with its plan prices and constantly canceling shows before they have a chance.

It's not the price hikes that bother me. Even at it's current price it's still cheaper than most cable options.

For me though It's the fact they drop Shows Waaaaaay! too quickly without giving them a chance to grow or get better just because they're not a run away success within the first minute.

Dark Crystal is a good example, One season and then it was canned. Cowboy bebop again canceled after one seasons. Most of that show's issues were mostly script and direction that could have been completely fixed within a second season with better writing. Heck even Witcher Season 2 fell somewhat flat compared to the first season but you know, they didn't cancel that.

Instead of canceling shows after 1-2 seasons they need to stick with them and build up a category of existent shows consisting of 5-10 season each. Instead they keep pumping out shows that last 1 season maybe 2 cancel it and move onto another "big idea"

And it's definitely competition that's effect Netflix now. They either need to commit to better shows long term or buy out the competition completely. Since When Netflix started there wasn't any streaming services in the number there are now.
