This title is unbelievably awesome even when its being rather odd. A great Strategy/Tactics RPG for the PS3.

User Rating: 8.5 | Agarest Senki PS3
You may have read about Agarest Senki, but what most people see is just the pretty girls in scantily clad outfits. I'll admit that drew my attention too, but once you play this game they go from the front to just icing on the cake of this very delicious Strategy/Tactics RPG.
Characters have completely customizable stats. Every level you gain you get points to "dump" into what ever stat you want. the higher the stat the more points it costs to go up. Weapons and Armor you take to the smith and he can level them up using another type of point you get from killing monsters. Magic and skills are purchased or found in treasure chests in certain areas. Anyone can equip any spell or skill, provided they are able to use that type of spell or skill, indicated by symbols on the character stat pages. The battle system is gridded out as you would expect there is a move phase and an action phase. Depending on the squares you position your characters on they can combine their attacks to unleash hellish combos to decimate the enemy.
In the beginning of the game you take control of the hero, duh, and get your butt whooped. You are brought back to like by a beautiful mysterious girl and then proceed to go an a quest to save the country. You meet many people on your journey including three women whom you will have to protect. Your choices through the game change their attitude towards you as well as your affinity towards light, neutral, or dark. Near the end of your journey you will have to choose one of the three girls to marry, yeah this is where it gets weird. So you marry and have a child. Time goes by and you take over the game as the child. Your new stats are based on your Father and Mothers stats and that light, dark affinity. Now in the 2nd generation you start another quest. You'll get to do this 3 more times for a total of 5 generations. Just imagine all the possible combinations to make up your final character . . . . thats a lot of combinations for one game.
This game is 100% voiced, that made translating on the fly a lot easier. Even having already purchased and played the game should it come to the US I would definitely purchase it again. If you ever played Thousand Arms for the PSone and liked it you have to play this.
