Dating SIM , JRPG , Tactics and Fan Service in one box , what more can you ask for?

User Rating: 8.5 | Agarest Senki PS3
Truth be told , this game had proven to be surprisingly addictive in contrary to what I've thought it may turn out to become.

Certainly , the gameplay is honestly not really meant for all kind of players , it's mainly focused on those who don't mind some old-school gameplay which bears similar traits to that of games you find in the PS1 era , but with a smaller map and the gameplay itself was given a slight twist so it may prove disorienting for hardcore Tactics players.

Storyline-wise , it's good to see that , or rather , it's quite unique to know that the game doesn't focus on one hero for too long , but splits up the story to a total of five generations and five different heroes and five different wives... *drools*
... What?

Seriously speaking , this game is more than just fan-service. There is an actual plotline ( Though not the best , still , I was expecting something worse off ) and the cast of characters are actually pretty interesting.
For one , it is kinda interesting to see a kid of...say... Generation One , grow to become an adult in Generation Two.

This game also bears a decision and consequence feature , which pretty much allows the player to shift the storyline according to their decisions....and that would also result in the wives they get at the end of each Generation.

Agarest also have a Dating SIM feature which pretty much allows you to get the girl whomever you get along best with and I suppose this pretty much makes it something like an SPRG , a game similar to that of Tears to Tiara so fans of such game may want to consider getting this.

Fan Service-wise .... Well , let's just say I'm surprised how perverted the developers are and the ways they use to get past the censorship.
.... Sausages are pretty convenient huh?

... *AHEM* , Anyways , if your a fan of Tactic games and better still , a fan of Anime , this is a must have inclusion to your "Must Buy" list.
'Tis really not something meant for people who aren't keen on Tactical RPGs truth be told.
