Risk is a classic game, one that can last a few minutes or a few days, depending on how it is played. The concept is simple: place your troops on the map, then try to wipe your enemies off the face of the earth with well executed strategy and enough luck of the roll of the dice. The graphics are nothing spectacular, the gameplay is basic, and the background music is forgettable, but you don't have to spend all the set up and clean up time, and you won't need to find a spot to store the game (where small children won't knock the game board over) if you want to interrupt a game and continue it later. Plus, my dad will play it with me (thus the high tilt). If you need flashy graphics and lots of movement to keep your attention, then you will not enjoy this game with it's static world. But if you enjoy trying to wrestle the world from the grip of the guy or girl sitting next to you based on fate and dumb luck, then you just may find yourself wanting to play over and over.
