If you liked the old SSX games, you'd be crazy not to play this one.

The newest installment of SSX is nothing short of amazing. It is a fusion of SSX 3 and tricky with a sleek social aspect. Gameplay is as you'd expect: downright fun and over-the-top. The slope environments are large and very diverse, bringing fresh challenges and spectacular scenery through every "drop". The music fits the game perfectly as you carve down the world's most dangerous mountain sides.

What sticks out - good:
SSX is completely integrated with Xbox Live. Players can compete against each other on any of the game's 152 slopes real-time, which adds a nice deal of replay-ability. Also, the addition of gadgets to aid in traversing the many deadly descents makes for a very intense and fun time.

What sticks out - bad:
Simply two things. Lack of customization of your characters, and the annoying 'attachment physics' for grinding pipes - it's like your board has a super magnet on it.

I love SSX and this newest installment is one of the most fun games I've played in a long time. 9/10
