I waited for others to review it before I got it, but it turned out to be fun.
A very difficult game to say the least, but the simplistic side scrolling action game works for an XBLA title. The multiple weapons and their upgrades compel the player to finish the game.
Online as well as local co-op, a lengthy and re-playable story mode, a jump into to the action arcade mode, and other attractions make this game one to keep your eye out for.
Although much good has been displayed, the bad news is that the game can get limited because of its temporary areas of repetitiveness can be a downer, but it will prove to still be fun.
CONTROL (9.0/10):
It works, as well as the combos are very simple yet effective. Also, there are multiple combinations of buttons making more room for more moves.
PRESENTATION (9.0/10):
A cool graphic style as well as a well put together story make this game a pretty package.
SOUND (8.0/10):
Good music and gore sound effects are good to the ear.
REPLAY VALUE (8.0/10):
Good online and co-op make this re playable. The only problem is that there are some road blocks that make the player unwilling to go back.
FINAL VERDICT (8.5/10 should be 8.3 but GS estimates):
Maybe buy it, try the demo first.
