For me, it was 10 hours of Crackdown 1. What about you guys?
9 hours on the original Baldurs Gate. I thought i'd have a quick game before breakfast around 9AM. Stopped playing around 6PM. oops :P.
Second longest would be 6 hours in Sins of a solar Empire. Sure i'll just take over 1 more system. Hold on i'll buff up the defences and economy of the system. Oh hold up....getting attacked on the other side of the map. I'll just deal with that. What time is it?....
I don't know tbh. These days I can't really play any single sessions longer than a couple hours, but I'll spend a good chunk of my day playing a few different games.
I think back in the day when my budget was leaner I'd spend some 6+ hour sessions with Diablo 2, Civilization/Alpha Centauri, and Sim City 4
@dracula_16: Civ 4, all night long and into the day.
Yeah, came here to say this.
"Just one more turn" syndrome is very real lol. I think I started playing after dinner one night after some plans to hang out failed and I had caffeinated, next thing I know it's the early AM and I was like "well I should get a nap in before the suns up.
Woke up, had some breakfast, got back to playing again haha.
Going to be frank even as an adult with a full-time job had some ludicrous long one-sittings for games that I prep for in advance.
Have food, drink, everything done (chores and social obligations) ready for a good fun session. Sometimes I take holidays just to play games uninterrupted.
Longest ones that comes to mind is for the Monster Hunter series, I have gone for at least 26 hours. Is that healthy? no, but I don't do it every week either so I don't care.
Hard to remember, I think it was before I entered the workforce, but after I graduated high school, I had too much free time, so there's probably a few days tucked in there that I played for literally 20 hours between when I woke up and when I finally went to bed. I don't know the specific game or games I played, though.
Over 24h back in 07-09, and i've had multiple full degen sessions like that. And even tho this is the definition of nolifing, lets just say that i have fond memories from those days. Guild Wars 1 got me addicted to its pvp like no other lol.
