I'm noticing no one really coming up with a real defense. Just saying "FAKE JURY!" and "FAKE TRIAL!". Or how these weren't real felonies with real evidence, even though they were. Nothing based on legal fact or citable.

The kind of people who implied we have no critical thinking skills and no idea what we are talking about, even as the evidence against Trump was made obvious. Even those of us who had predicted a hung jury were being insulted.
To the person who asked me about the severity of his crimes before. Trump tried overturnign an election. As far as I am concerned, that is extremely severe. What he is being charged with is a less severe felony.
As for Cohen, I dont believe a single testimony is compelling enough evidence. But the body of evidence was stacked against Trump and it seems the court thought the same thing.
I hope Trump gets a lifetime in prison, but still maintains his right to vote.
Whoa, I honestly wasn't expecting that. I thought he'd be cleared of this one, but jailed for his attempted coup and his illegal retention of state secrets.
That's huge. It bodes very well for his other cases.
I'm sure he'll appeal this conviction forever, and I suspect he'll be given special treatment and avoid prison time, but it's good news either way.
Also, yikes, best to avoid any conservative sectors of the internet for a while. The mental gymnastics are getting *wild*.
I expected a hung jury. But being found guilty on all charges? Now that is what I call a critical hit.
As for the conservative sectors. I NEVER want to hear the people defending Trump ever talk about law and order again.
