@gamespoons This is a great comment and a very balanced one, in my opinion. It's annoying to see all the other commenters not understanding where the reviewer is coming from. This is not a review for DS vets, this is a review for DS newbies like me.

This is an excellent review for people like me who aren't regular RPG gamers. I would have ended up spending a lot of money on this (I'm surprised by how much resale value this game has in the second-hand market!) and then hated myself for it because I wouldn't enjoy a game that has such a steep learning curve and unforgiving difficulty for new players.

It's things like this that make me come to Gamespot for reviews and opinions before I take decisions regarding where to spend my money!

Some time back, GS had a session where they invited the creators of this game and there was a video and everything. I think it was on The Lobby? I'm not sure. Anyway, a couple of people from the Fluster Cluck team were on the show and excited about the game and all of them seemed to be enjoying it. I'm really curious ... what happens when you then give them a 3 out of 10 on your official review? Do they get mad at you and stop appearing on your shows to spite you all?

PS: Does anyone know if GS actually replies to comments?

Why wasn't Prince of Persia: Sands of Time included? I loved the ending, it's circular nature as it wraps up from where it began. It was fantastic!
