Tails, but HK-47 and Midna are good too. I used to like Cortana as well, but then she got... weird.

Tails no doubt from me, I love sonic 2 so much and love tails ever since that game <3.

i love cortana but i liked her even more on halo 4, halo 2 Remaster was like too real for me.

I have absolutely no idea why Elizabeth from Bioshock isn't there, but out of those choices, it would have to be HK47

Dom from Gears of War was pretty sweet. Also the Cole Train. And Baird. Gosh, those guys are all cool.

The Arbiter from Halo, though I'm not really sure if he'd be a sidekick. Varric from Dragon Age is cool too.

Hm... I can't think of many games I've played that had memorable characters I'd consider sidekicks.
