Will you be checking this out, OT? I’m an Indy fan, gotta see Harrison Ford’s last one!
Didn't care about this movie to begin with. Dug out "because they can".
Series ends here, perfecto.
The trilogy ended on a great note with Crusade and it would have been a perfect way to end the franchise. It's amazing just how crappy Skulls was compared with the other films.
I already watch it early here in Atlanta when my theater had an early showing which I was lucky enough to check it out before the big opening.
As I've said it in another thread. Dial of Destiny was okay, but I can tell you all know I actually enjoy Kingdom of the Crystal Skull more so as it still retained that classic Indiana Jones as best as possible. People who are expecting Dial of Destiny to be miles better than Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is in for a big surprised as it's not the case...IMO.
Edit: I'll give Dial of Destiny a 6/10. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull an 8/10 for comparisons.
Disney’s doing a real bang-up job with Lucasfilm’s properties, boy.
I have absolutely no interest to watch the raping of my childhood through Disney’s incompetence. I’ve no idea how Kennedy still has her job after destroying Star Wars, and after this will undoubtedly flop given its astronomical budget, subpar reviews, and especially now that everyone has seen how horrible Disney has been handling these legendary franchises.
@MirkoS77: The Willow TV show was better than the movie.
*Dives behind cover*
Really? I heard the show was terrible, but admittedly it’s been LONG time since I’ve seen the movie.
Too bad was cancelled with all the other shows. Star Wars hotel shut down too only after like a year? Bad times for Mickey.
@MirkoS77: I'm not convinced many of these folks actually watched the show. The fact it was pulled from Disney+ due to low viewership is proof enough, but on top of that a lot of compaints about it were off base. Willow is not sidelined by mary sue lesbians who do no wrong. He constantly has to bail out the other characters when they **** up.
It's fair to call this basic high fantasy that brings nothing new to the table, but that's true of the movie as well.
I learned my lesson with the previous movie introducing aliens.
Series will forever be a trilogy for me. You all enjoy these new movies if you can. I'm good.
Disney has ruined every franchise they have touched and the companies value has tanked as a result. It's time for new leadership.
