@kvallyx: Yeah it’s just a static snapshot at the time I put it in. Could have sworn that I was able to have one that updated regularly before in the earlier GameSpot days. For some reason just can’t seem to do it these days. Not sure if it’s something I’m doing wrong or if it’s something to do with GameSpot side.

Just got back and installing now. Had to buy a new controller as well cos the pup ate my last damn stick.

I knew the game was blurry as hell after trying the demo, but after seeing the DF analysis, DAMN bruh. This is 360 level blurriness in 2024.

Yeah, game is super blurry in performance mode. Basically a choice between blur and 30fps, so sadly the blur wins out.

I thought they said it was being patched for release?

There was a day 1 patch, but it's still God-awful. I caved and changed to Graphics mode until they patch it better.

I am in graphics mode. But still needs work.

Yeah, really don't like limiting myself to 30fps, but damn was that blur bad.

My copy of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Deluxe Edition has arrived. It’s a very nice bundle. Came with two very nice steel books, a hardcover art book, and a music CD. Top notch quality stuff. I’m quite pleased with it.

Am installing now.

I remember getting the deluxe for Remake and the steelbook was really nice… and then about year or so later I ended up selling it, but I miss how nice that steelbook was. My collector’s edition should be coming tomorrow!

Sephiroth is an insanely overrated character. He might've been the original edgelord, but Virgil has far surpassed him in that department.

Then I have no context of what I am doing and some cutscenes are walking sequences. Also, boss cutscenes are unskippable and there are about 3 each battle.

I saw an article on the front page "How To Romance Tifa". They need to go BG3 style on this shit and stop playing little games.

Oh no no no, i think its cringe af, and its especially cringe when its Mass Effect style of sex when two 3d fully clothed characters rubbing on each other, which is what's in 99% of games that have the "romance" options. What i am saying is that IF YOU MUST have this shit, go all in like BG3, or TW3. If it was me developing a game, i would never waste dev time on something this irrelevant.

@Pedro: hmm true. But the boss cutscenes are very short. You not patient enough for few seconds cutscene? You probably haven't played FF6 to FFX then? Cause they got some long dialogue and cutscenes you can't skip.

@blamix: Firstly, it is not a few seconds and secondly the primary reason I play games is to play, not to watch cinematics. There is a section of entertainment that excels at passive entertainment. Pointing out other games in the series that are just as bad doesn't excuse this game or any other game.

My copy will only arrive on monday so I have few days to finish other games. Hoping day one but somehow the deluxe edition only arrived at the store yesterday and they just mailed it today. Can't wait to share my experiences as well.

@sakaixx: Its good your waiting, hopefully they fix all the poor graphic issues by then. This game really needs a PS5Pro, it's a blurry mess of low resolution textures. It feels they rushed it. Im gonna wait for the PS5Pro coming out this year.

The major issue I have so far is they way over-corrected with the open world aspect. It's just so big and largely lifeless.

@Pedro: do you just play Souls games then? Maybe you should play more games and minimize the time you spend here in this forum. You're literally spending most of your time bashing games you can't or will never play. You scrolling on every page in this forum is way longer than those boss battle cutscenes you can't skip 😆

There's just no reason why the game is so blurry. Should have delayed it and cleaned that up. First it was FF16 now this game. Unacceptable.

Some. Not sure how playing more games is going to eliminate or reduce the cutscenes and walking sections in games. I looking foreward to the correlation. I spend more time on here bashing games than playing games?🤔...😂 No need to make shit up because this game is plagued with cutscenes and you take ages to scroll through a page.🤭
