Just went through the Mythril Cavern, that was awesome.

Loving it so far. On chapter 3, Titan was kinda a B.

I have a problem though, the.moves you do when you hold R1 and one of the four buttons, cloud won't do them if Barrett not in the party, dunno why.

Currently on Chapter 7 and heading up Mt. Corel. Still having an absolute blast with the game.

Just played Fort Condor. Love the addition of the heroes.

Been playing on dynamic difficulty. Finally beat Phoenix level 1 after so many tries lol.

Up to Chapter 12 now and it's back to the Gold Saucer. Clocking in about 45hrs atm. Chapter 12 also allows you to fast-travel back to anywhere without limitations, so it's handy for going back and tidying up side content.

Got my kids into FF7 OG and it's funny watching them get lost. The games they are used.to playing always tell them where to go. They are not used to older games.

20 hours in total. Just got Yuffie! Just taking my time and enjoying all the game has to offer. Amazing game! Love everything so far. Even the mini games.

lol I still have a copy of the FF7 OG game along with my original save file (on the PS1 memory card) right before you fight the final boss.

NGL I friggin love Queen Blood card game and its the first activity I do when reaching new towns. For now the gameplay is still relatively simple as long as u could lock ur opponent out of drawing cards its a guaranteed win but now in North Corel the opponents uses attacking and stat increase cards. Can't wait for more variation!

Hoping the next game, QB is expanded more like triple triad in FFVIII where u could challenge most NPCs.

Have been playing the game on youtube for the last couple of days, and god damn, i don't know how one plays a video game with THIS MANY CHORES. They've outdone Ubisoft at this point lol.

@sakaixx: Three to four different difficulties I think. The more of the summon shrines you uncover, the more lesser difficulties unlock I think

Currently at Corel Prison in Chapter 8. The Gold Saucer was amazing. Loving all the mini games. Sadly though there are a couple that I’m struggling to be good at. The piano one I can’t seem to get beyond a B and three star Dio in 3D Battler keeps handing me my ass.

The writing in this game is fantastic. All the dialog and interactions between the main cast of characters and NPCs is just really good. Such an incredible amount of charm and personality in the game with writing, environments, and music. Always putting a smile on my face or making me chuckle.

There wasn't a break in the first half of Chapter 10. I am half way through Chapter 10 and ZERO combat. It's all about Red's family, Observatory, "Higher Learning".

This game isn't even half as good as FFXVI.

I'm clearly referencing the side-content in each region. As for Ch 10, it plays out much like the OG in that you learn stuff about the planet/lifestream and then go through a dungeon to reveal the truth about Red's dad. Not entirely sure of your point.

Finished chapter 13 today, and shit is just getting confusing at this point. Heard the ending was a mess, so probably gonna have to read an in-depth explanation once i'm finished the last chapter.

Is it better than Remake? Gameplay and story?

I like it better, but that's largely because Remake was limited to just Midgar. It still suffers from problems with Remake among new ones. Some embellishments hit pretty well, and others not so much. World building (beyond main story) is largely limited to Chadley requests in the open-world areas, but these are solely optional.

Gameplay-wise, they're very much the same, with a few tweaks.

Finished it today. Overall, did enjoy the game. As for the ending, it's as confusing as the reviews say. I have my theories, but they really did do a hatchet job.

The review i am waiting for, one that will expose this game to such a level that even my fellow cows will be shook, is from Synthetic Man. Its gonna be powerful, real powerful.

Despite my earlier misgivings I am having fun now. The bandits side quest was funny and now I am used to it, it is a good game which is fun to play. Not worthy of a 10 as it has its faults but still a robust 9.

Worst part of the game. It’s insane in the membrane.

After 70 hours I’ve finally made it. To Chapter 10 that is. This game is massive. This continues to impress the hell out of me. From the combat mechanics to how expertly they’ve recreated the game world of the original game.

Just beat the last Fort Condor match to complete the Junon region. onto the next chapter! 25 hours in.

Halfway through Chapter 13 here and at 40 hours. It’s a decent game. Mini games have ruined some of it for me, as has Yuffi and fighting the same boss multiple times over different chapters.

@kvallyx: The only problem with the mini-games are the ones you cannot skip. The Fort Condor one in Junon is annoying - didn't like the game in Intergrade and still do not like it in this game - personal preferences and all that.

Having to do mini-games to progress in Costa Del Sol was annoying. Other than that you can play the ones you like and skip the boring stuff.

The side stuff on the whole is okay. Chadley's stuff at least gets you interesting materia. The auto-cast with healing and an ATB charge increase means you can have a healer like Aerith on the team and do not have to bother using her. You can continue with Yuffie and Tifa who have the more interesting combat.

Just reached the reactor on Mount Coren.

Okay, I take back what I said. This depends on how much mini-games you do that are a side thing and how many side-quests, because it can get tiring.

Edit: Catching chocobo's is starting to get annoying. Also, screw the moogle games. Waste of time imo
