Seems like this is a killer AA game and a true gem for fans of the series...

Anyone picking it up day 1? Also... Is this a glitchless launch? I haven't heard anyone complain. May he worth a purchase just for that.

we dont get pure action shooters these days or rarely. everything has to be open world and RPG.

also you cant make Robocop game that is fast. robo cop walk slow.

Too much to play but I'll definitely play it. 2023 has been pretty brutal but I'll get there eventually.

Yeah but this year has been stuffed with great FPS games:

Atomic Heart, System Shock, Trepang, Turbo Overkill...

Last FPS game I truly enjoyed was Halo Infinite. Which I played this summer but that's a 2021 game.

I enjoyed Halo Infinite as well. I also feel its singleplayer system would encompass more guns being added, the ones they added to the multiplayer live service.

Do yourself a favor and play System Shock, it's hands down the best FPS of the year and one of the best FPS since Half Life 2.

A little worried I won't like it, but I enjoyed Bioshock and absolutely loved Bioshock Infinite.

Wait.... U DIDN'T like Ss2 remake? Why? You have to have reasons. Are you able to play the original Ss2 and say it's better than the remake? Why?

I've never played SS1 or 2. I actually got into them because I love Bioshock, Prey and Dead Space.

System Shock 1 is a lot like Bioshock (Bioshock has a lot of the same spaces remade). Kinda like Medal of Honor Allied Assault is a lot like the original Medal of Honor reimagined (or a homage).

In summary System Shock 1 is like Bioshock only you need to keep notes, have like a notepad near you or use those new Steam notes that you can get :)

SS1 remake I dont like much.

SS2 is masterpiece. its not gotten remake.

Try System Shock 2. its one of the greatest game of all time. SS1 remake is pale in comparision. 23 years later pale in comparision and feel like cheap indie title.

The demo was just a glorified shooting gallery and judging from the reviews, it seems it just stays like that the whole game. I'll pass on it.

Looks like a decent enough good time game. I enjoyed the first two movies but I’m not a huge Robocop fan so I’ll probably just wait for this to hit Game Pass to play it.

Expecting mid game but good vibes.

I might give it a shot, had great fun with Terminator: Resistance. That wasn't well received at launch either but it seems to have garnered some fanfare along the way, and they certainly spruced it up with further post-launch support. I'm in the fence. Haven't paid for much these last few months with Game Pass crushing it so perhaps I'll splurge on this. Bought Alan Wake 2 with just my Xbox Rewards and already have $10 in Xbox Reward to knock of this game's price.

I've never seen the movies, only clips of scenes here and there. I'm interested in the franchise, and from what I've seen of the game, it looks awesome. I'd definitely be down to play it. PC only or consoles too? :3

First is big masterpiece, wowowow. Second is just "good", not terrible.

This game acts as a sequel to 2 btw. ignores 3.

@TheEroica: I was planning on trying out the game regardless but still not a day one purchase. I don't think ANY game is, to be honest. It's pretty awesome in general that we get a new Robocop game this gen. I've always been a huge fan of the movies and lived pretend scenarios in my head before, where I'd replace Master Chief with Robocop and slowly approach aliens - even though the games let you at least light jog. lol Now I can stop pretending!

I agree... No game is a day 1 in the modern day. Not that it's bad to be hyped and show love, but in terms of purely bang for your buck, day 1 is playing the very worst version of any game for the most money. Undoubtedly a losing value.

They did add nut-shots! I'll be getting it.
