As for this game, meh it's Atlas and it's weird crap, I'll pass.

I do enjoy a number of Atlus games such as Persona and Shin Megami Tensei so I am pretty interested in this new one. Will probably get it for my Xbox Series X. 😎

That had nothing to do with Game Pass bitterness and more to do with marketing to a crowd who doesn't even buy already niche games

Ben was right.. this game is being marketed to Lems like you and IP Daily who have no interest in these types of games. So literally, the only way you would try it is if it’s on GamePass. Ben was absolutely right, hence why you got rekt!

I think if it was indeed coming to Game Pass, that logo would be plastered on that trailer despite MS bought the marketing rights. Ben is right, if this doesn't come to Game Pass, Metaphor: ReFantazio is indeed dead on arrival on Xbox Series.

Might get it on Steam as Game Pass does nothing for me anyway rather its on or not.

When this game was first announced on the Xbox showcase back when, they said right away it wouldn't be coming to Game Pass, same goes for Visions of Mana. And yeah, they're both right: Xbox players will not buy this game in high numbers. Octopath Traveler players on Game Pass hardly touched the game when you look at Achievement data.

It very looks lame. So no.

I'm getting it, but it really does seem like another Persona rather than something new and unique like they've been advertising.

Day 1, UI and music are good as usual

Day 1 here as well. After playing the masterpiece Vanillaware/Atlus released in Unicorn Overlord (my personal goty so far) and seeing the beautiful gradient coloring, lighting, and art style of Metaphor Refantazio mixed with the option of turn based or real time action fighting depending on the situation, it appears we have another title offering something new and fresh. That seems to be Atlus's MO these days and I for one am more than ok with that.

That town they showed off with the contrasting purple sails of the ship mixed with the green gradient of the building is absolutely 🔥

The music, art (featuring multiple styles), familiar UI with a new twist, and dual combat system have me mildly hyped for this game just as I was for UO. Hopefully this one will blow me away and exceed my expectations as well.

The game checks all the boxes for a game that would hype me, but strangely enough it doesn't.

In the same boat. Maybe it's the character designs, they're... weird.
