This is just crazy. There is a rumored shipment of Wiis coming in tomorrow and people are getting ready to stand in lines all over again. How insane has this thing gotten?

Toys'R Us Toys'R Us huh? I need to get back there to hunt for some more bargains. Last time I was in there browsing at mountain bikes when I saw out the corner of my eye the sale section. I got Metroid Prime 2 and Half Life 2 for about $10 equivalent each (I dont live in the US).

The Toys R Us I was at yesterday had Gradius Collection (PSP), Trace Memory (DS), Polarium (DS), and a single copy of the GTA Dual-Pack (3 and VC) for the PS2 all clearanced at $10.

Yeah, I think some nintendo fans have been unable to find one since they drop off shelves so fast. I am coming from a PS2/PC background and can't wait to pick one up. Just the way things are going, demand is no lower then during the holidays and it might be mid to late spring before I can get my hands on one.

Two weeks ago, here in Winnipeg, there was a line of about 12 people outside of Futureshop waiting for 3 Wii's. The temperature overnight was -49C with the windchill.
And no, this has nothing to do with them being sheep, this has everything to do with Nintendo making a product that people WANT, desperately, desperately enough to freeze to death over.
I want to see waiting lists on online Nintendo stores that ship straight to your door.
