And without AA at all, if you think those minor jaggies are bad, imagine on PS3 with no AA like Oblivion, just plainly put, PS3 SUCKS in multiplatforms, end of story

1 whole year more to make Oblivion, and the only thing better, the better far textures comes to 360 before PS3 version is even out

Ahh can someone please post some Kameo pics of a YEAR OLD launch game that SMOKES all PS3 games thus far and even in development.

Oh and can we please have some MGS4 pics to show those bad wall and ground limited 256MB textures.

It just so happens that the ps3 version of Oblivion will be better than the 360 version (better long distance textures, faster load times etc), at least that's what I read in that other thread regarding the issue.

BS, quit spreading crap, John Carmack said the PS3 had higher peak numbers and even said SONY made a mistake with the componant choices and architecture in the PS3.

 Let me break it down for you:

The PS3's peak specs were with all 8 SPE's running at maximum power, when in fact, the PS3 will only use 6 SPE's for games (1 reserved for the OS and the other can be used for games if requested), with that, the actual peak the Cell can produce with 6 SPE's is around 153 TFLOPS compared to the Xenon's 115 TFLOPS, with how both consoles architecture works, the PS3 will pull around 114 TFLOPS and the 360 around 103 TFLOPS, PS3 does in fact have the advantage as far as processing power, but not nearly as much as SONY wanted everyone to believe, the PS3's architecture allows it to run at around 75% efficiency, while the 360's runs at around 90%.

 The second part of this is the GPU's, I won't even get into that, everyone knows that deal.

Third, the PS3 is also bottlenecked as far as available RAM and how the RAM works, for the Cell to access the other 256MB of the PS3's RAM, it would create latency issues, which is probably why devs do not do it.

Saying the PS3 has superior hardware is just plain false.
