I don't see how OoT doesn't hold up. Big adventure, good puzzles, good bosses, many tools and mechanics, good graphics, good controls, awesome soundtrack, cool story. It's very playable, even today.

sorry Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was much better for its time.

it also feels like more of a zelda game. heck even link to the past on snes was more zelda like than breath of the wild.

It is all opinions at the end of the day. There is no objectivity with GOTY, GOAT and whether or not a game holds up. This is all entertainment, and the evaluation of entertainment is mostly subjective.
