This is what the Wii needs more of to be successful. Am I right? :)

It needs more ground up titles. 

Games like Sonic and the Secret Rings, Elebits, Dewy's Adventure, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Smash Brothers Brawl, Project Hammer, Disaster Day of Crisis, Super Monkey Ball: Bannana Blitz, Dragon Quest: Swords, Saddness, Red Steel, Rayman Raving Rabbits (was ported to other systems), Warioware: Smooth Moves, Godzilla: Unleashed, SSX Blur, Wii Play, Wii Sports ect. are what Wii games should be:  Titles built around the Wii control scheme.  While this may seem like a lot of title (Im sure I missed some :P ) it doesnt change the fact that these are greatly outnumbered by last gen ports with tacked on controls.  Developers need to stop being lazy and get creative. :)

Absolutly.  I think the Wii will get just that in the next year.  It takes at least a year to produce a decent game.  The Wii has got some really solid support from third parties since E3.  I think there will be a bunch of really creative games coming out using the increadible controls on the system.Firelore29

Wii needs:

1) A better GPU and CPU to facilitate next-gen technology.

2) HDTV output.

3) 3rd Party Developers who produce new, mature, franchises.

4) Less simplistic, childish, and party-related games.

Agree, less ports would be great, but considering the Wii had to start from a dead stop that was the GC. I'd say its doing pretty well on getting games.geist117
