I dunno. How was the wait for FEAR? I certainly remember quite alot of lemmings and cows excited about it and making posts and trying to prove which console will have the best version.

Cant recall ever seeing a hermit make a post about Halo 2.

Halo for PC sold well...I'm sure many hermits want Halo 2.

Hermits are too busy on The Burning Crusade to care. After, Blizzard only dumps their AAA games on PC gamers. And even when they're not playing that, they're too busy looking at Hellgate London, Crysis, and Stalker to care about ports.

and maybe the original poster live to far back in the woods to know,  but we aren't useing windows 3.1 on our 486s anymore.  the most commonly sold home pc's today are the media centers.  they can play on anything a console can. somebody develops recievers and drivers so you can use and console controler on your pc,  and alot of pc controlers that you cant use on consoles.  for a gaming pc 1080p would be substandard.  even most cheap graphics cards exceed 1080p.  you dont want to think about the me dx10 cards coming out.  pc software is cheaper.

if consoles were superior they would be making all the pc games on consoles,  rather that making all console games on the pc.  thinking that a the best console can come near a quality pc is like expecting to win the indi 500 with a camaro.  it'll never happen.  think for a second.  games can never exceed what they are made on,  and you can upgrade a pc more than once every 5 years if you want.

Unfortuantly for you PC gamers dont give a flying ratts butt about ANY console games be they xbox or playstation. FF7, FF8, DMC3, MGS, MGS2 ALL crashed & burned at retail on the pc.
