How are you not bored with Halo 3 yet? I mean, even though I own a ps3 I like the Halo series. I think Halo 1 and 2 were better. But, people how are you not bored with that game?
Im getting bored with this Halo threads :P but anyway why do you wanna know? Are you? Does the game bother you? Personally, im not. Is it because its 2 years old? Just like cod4? I would laugh if that was the reason.. If a game is good why would anyone stop playing it?
I kind of am. I've been playing other games. I think I've only had one 4-game session of Halo 3 in the last month. I love Halo 3, and the Halo series. Halo: CE was the first game on the first console I ever owned. Halo: CE was the reason I bought that first console. But you can only play so much of one game...

No it's not that it's two years old. MGS3 came out awhile ago and I'm still playing that. The game also doesn't bother me either. Also, the game isn't that great. ok your opinion then, i just shared mine. So you wanted a simple answer? ill stick with a NO, im not bored then.

There's an endless amount of customized games you can create which never gets old. I actually played Halo basketball which is a blast. its amazing what poeple come up with on forge. sticky grenades never get old to me.

There alot to do in Halo 3. It helps that there are monthly match making updates, special event playlist such as holiday specials, double exp weekends(every weekend) and 7 on 7. We've got occasional DLC and Forge lets people make and share their own creations while films let you take incredible moment and share those. Personally I've had a good fill of matchmaking. Regardless of howm any times I've played it though I'm almost always up for some campaign co-op. The next set of maps should go a long too.

The game just never gets old, i just hate to see people hating on halo 3 because they dont like the game. It doesnt mean that other persons dont like it aswell.

This, I like watching the videos after good matches, so it would look cool. But I definitely don't play enough Halo to be in Recon Armor contention. I think anyone calling it pointless is just blatantly jealous.

Different strokes for different folks right? I played MGS4 once and I was content to be done with it. Meanwhile other people can play through it 10 times and it never gets old.

Definitely. I'm not a Halo fanatic, and I prefer the 'sights' gameplay of CoD better, but I definitely understand why people like Halo's multiplayer so much.

On top of that you can alter the campaign with modifiers and even compete with freinds with point totals. I've replayed the campaign more than any game.

Please, don't describe the whole game to me. I've beaten the campaign like 12 times and I know what Skulls are and everything. Just stop telling me all the little extras that I already know exist.
im sure people take a break from halo and play another game sometimes. its not like they have been only playing halo 3 since release. There are also people who are buying the game new and playing it for the first time.

I'm pretty bored with it, plus they made it so that anyone who has not bought the map packs can't play most of the ranked matches. That instantly turns me away from the game.
In my honest opinion. I think Halo 3 was over hyped and couldn't match Halo 2's online multiplayer. When I first played the campaign on Halo 3 with my friends and beat it together, we moved on to multiplayer. We played the multiplayer (and these were the guys I used to play Halo 2 with all day long) we had a few laughs and fun moments but we quickly realized that the game was no different than Halo 2. Halo 3 didn't seem like new or a big next generation leap from Halo 2 in fact it used most of the elements from Halo 2.
Halo 2 had that wow factor of new ideas compared to the original Halo, such as. Duel wielding weapons, boarding an enemy's vehicle, using the covenant energy sword, being able to drive different and new vehicles. Halo 3 was hyped because it's the first Halo on "next gen" consoles many people like me were expecting epic battles, with many new features but were very disappointed by the end results. I never played Halo 3 in a year now because I was so disappointed by it.
In conclusion of my opinion, I think Halo 3 was overrated, over hyped and one of the biggest disappointments of 2007. I just wanted to get that off my chest :)
Why are you trolling TC? Why would you assume that everyone is still playing Halo 3? I got bored of it when Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Rock Band etc came out, which was like a month after it released........
i didnt really get bored with it but i got edged out i havent played in awhile because i dont have the new maps and whenever one of my friends invite me to a game i cant play anything but player matches so they leave me behind and i say screw it i think bungie really messed up with that.

you have to try it. its one of the best expreiences you'll ever have as a gamer. not expensive to do.

now i have done that a few times not with beer mind you as im not old enough to drink but me a bunch of buds system linked for a graduation party and it is 10x better than playing online.
Stopped playing that a long time ago, the only time I play it now it co-op with friends. Didn't enjoy the multiplayer at all, it got boring quick and I never did understand the ranking system.
